Moraa Future Hope is a part of The Voice of Women Foundation, founded by Pacificah Moraa in 2011 to empower women in Kenya. As a woman who had experienced gender-based barriers, the founder wanted to provide support and resources to those facing similar challenges. Initially a small group of volunteers, the VWF became one of the country’s most respected and influential women’s organizations. The idea for Moraa Future Hope was inspired by the founder’s experiences from a humble background seeking education. The organization currently sponsors the education of 34 needy students, paying for tuition fees and providing food and basic materials like books and pens. The foundation also offers boarding facilities for 24 students.
